About Mary
Certified Corneotherapist & Integrative Skin Specialist
With a background in health science and 7 years spent working within clinical care settings, I developed a deep appreciation for patient care, evidence base practice and understanding concerns beyond what is visible on the surface. As my passion for skin grew, I carried that same philosophy into the world of dermal and clinical aesthetics where I found what I truly loved…helping people feel comfortable, confident and restored in their own skin. Navigating inflammatory skin conditions within my own family from acne to sensitised and reactive skin, gave me a firsthand understanding of how deeply skin can affect a person's daily life.
My focus in the last 8 years in the industry has always been on learning what genuinely works. The ingredients, technologies and treatment methods supported by science to create meaningful changes. This is what shaped the foundation of the SSR method. My philosophy is treating skin holistically and progressively, rather than aggressively. Each client journey is carefully guided through a structured four phase method designed to restore skin function, rebuild strength, target concerns and refine long term results. Through customised treatment planning and personalised compounding principles inspired by corneotherapy, every skin is supported according to what it truly needs in every season.
At the heart of this philosophy is also the sensory experience of touch and care. As someone whose love language is touch, I deeply value creating treatments that not only deliver results but allow clients to slow down, relax and feel nurtured through massage, connection and intentional treatments.
Beyond the clinic, I am also a mother to toddler twins and two teenagers, which has shaped the way I care for people more than any qualification ever could. Raising children at such different stages of life has taught me the importance of slowing down and being present in the moments that matter most.
This is why I wanted to create more than a treatment room. It is a space where clients are cared for, educated and guided with honesty. Where clinical knowledge meets compassionate care and where results are pursued in a way that never forgets the person attached to the skin.
